Carol Stream, Illinois. February 13, 2018 – MAN Marketing, a full-service marketing and advertising agency headquartered in Carol Stream, IL, that has been in business for over 37 years, has been named Agency of Record for the Empowering Girls for Life (EGFL) organization. The non-profit EGFL’s inaugural event will be a multifaceted, multimedia two-day gathering of women leaders in athletics, business, entertainment and education along with girls and their families at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois on August 11-12, 2018.
Ed Mallof, President and Founder of MAN Marketing said, “We are very excited to be working with Empowering Girls for Life, and we embrace the vision these women have for this incredible event.” MAN Marketing will be working with EGFL on their marketing campaign, strategic planning, social media and sponsorship sales.
EGFL was born when a group of impressive and accomplished women watched in dismay as recent events unfolded that seemed be a full-frontal assault on the dignity of women
They decided that the best way to create the women leaders of tomorrow would be to start by empowering girls today.
EGFL will provide a platform for girls ages 7 to 17 to meet and interact with high profile women with proven track records of success in their respective fields. EGFL will also help girls and their parents get a head start on important pre-college necessities such as ACT/SAT testing, financial aid opportunities, and the college selection process.
Alexis Mack, an outfielder for the University of Oregon, who led the PAC-12 in hitting and stolen bases, is both a guest speaker and the Public Relations Spokeswoman for EGFL. She says “I was given an amazing opportunity to help launch the annual Empowering Girls for Life convention that will enable young girls and their families to experience and learn from a variety of strong women with various sports and business leadership backgrounds. I’ve asked my former travel ball coach, Bill Conroy and the Beverly Bandits for their support in helping coordinate and facilitating this event. What we have put together now will be the foundation for years to come.”
“We know that by giving these women a platform to help educate, inform and inspire girls, we’ll make the future a better and more diverse place for everyone,” Mack said.
